Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 September 2026
Where things stand today: Optima Axis is pre-launch. There are no paying clients yet, and no wearable data is currently connected to any live system, this page describes how things work now (the waitlist) and how they will work once coaching clients and connected devices go live, so it's accurate from day one rather than needing a rewrite at launch. This policy has been prepared by the founder; it will be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before Optima Axis takes on paying clients or connects real client health data.

Who this is

Optima Axis is a health and performance coaching practice founded and run by Kieran Lusk, based in Bristol, UK. For anything in this policy, including requests about your own data, contact:

What information is collected today

Right now, before Optima Axis has any paying clients, the only information collected through this website is what you give us if you join the waitlist or use the free Axis Map self-assessment: your name, email address, and phone number if you provide it, plus your Axis Map answers if you complete that tool. This is used to let you know when Optima Axis is ready for new clients and to respond to you personally, nothing else.

This site does not use analytics or tracking cookies.

What information will be collected once coaching begins

Once Optima Axis takes on paying clients, coaching will involve health and wellbeing information gathered through conversation, intake forms, and, where a client chooses to connect one, a wearable device such as WHOOP. That can include:

This counts as special category health data under UK GDPR. It is only ever collected with your clear, explicit, opt-in consent, connecting a wearable device is always your choice, never a default, and you can disconnect it at any time.

Why we use it

Information is used only to deliver and improve your coaching: understanding your patterns, informing programme decisions, and giving you and your coach a shared, accurate picture to work from. It is never sold, and it is never used for advertising.

Our legal basis for processing it

For waitlist and general enquiries: your consent, given when you submit a form or email us. For health and wearable data once coaching begins: your explicit consent, as required for special category data under UK GDPR Article 9. You can withdraw consent at any time, which stops future collection but does not undo anything already processed lawfully before that point.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers to run Optima Axis, and information is only shared with them as needed to provide the service:

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, for any reason.

Where your data is processed

Some of the providers above may process data on servers outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place (such as standard contractual clauses) to keep your data protected to a UK standard.

How long we keep it

Waitlist information is kept until you ask to be removed or until Optima Axis launches and reaches out, whichever comes first. Client health data is kept for as long as you're an active client, plus a reasonable period afterward in case you return or have a query about your own records, and deleted sooner on request unless we're required to keep it longer by law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email kieran@optima-axis.com directly. We'll respond personally, not through a support queue.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, particularly once real client data and wearable integrations go live, the "last updated" date at the top will change and, for active clients, we'll tell you directly rather than leaving it to be noticed.
